The Azores, Sept 2024
We have had an amazing time in The Azores , with great diving, fun boat rides, blue sharks, dolphins, amazingly clear blue water and a brilliant team of divers. Thank you to Haliotis dive centre for looking after us so well and to everyone for coming and making it such a brilliant trip
Diving weekends, August 2024
The visibility has reduced in the shallows as we are in August but the depth is still clear and everyone has dived really well and coped brilliantly, with the variable conditions.

Farne Islands, July 2024
We had a fantastic 3 days of diving in the Farne Islands! Amazing weather and flat calm sea. The seals were a bit shy but the conditions and dives were absolutely lovely.
Thank you everyone for coming and making it such a fun trip and to Ron our amazing skipper from Sovereign Diving for looking after us so well. Looking forward to the next trip!

Red Sea Liveaboard, April 2024
The group are back after a great week in the Red Sea! Some of the group did the famous Arch at the Blue Hole (properly, with twinsets and helium) and the rest did The Bells and Canyon which were really cool too.

Yarmouth Sealife Centre Visits Feb 2024
Thank you to Sophie for showing us round the Sealife Centre. We had a lovely time seeing all the beautiful creatures and it was great to get together at this time of year.
And Polly got to go back and help clean the Ocean tank!
Christmas Party 2023
We had a great night at the Christmas Party with lots of fun and raised £540 for the RNLI so huge thanks to everyone for your generosity.
Cocos Island Oct 2023
The group had a great time in Cocos Island off Costa Rica. A real adventure into the middle of the Pacific Ocean diving with sharks and rays.

Red Sea Liveaboard Oct 2023
We had a great time in the Red Sea diving the northern wrecks and reefs onboard gorgeous new Liveaboard Bella Eriny.

Santi Sweden Trip Jan 2023
Huge thanks to Reel Diving for an amazing few days in Sweden, diving and exploring the mines at Tuna and learning all about the fantastic range of Santi drysuits, Halcyon dive kit and the brilliant Suex scooters.
We had an incredible time and our Santi drysuits and undersuits kept us really warm and cosy all day.

2022 Christmas Party
We had a great time at the CSS Christmas Party last night!
Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant night. Over 70 people drank, danced, laughed and raised a fantastic £720 for the RNLI and Sea Shepherd.

November Dive Weekends
We've had more great dive weekends in November at Stoney Cove and Gildenburgh, including another night dive at Gildenburgh. The conditions at Stoney have been really good with good visibility and still 12 degree water. Let us know if you want to come along...

We've had some great dive weekends in October at Stoney Cove and Gildenburgh, including night dives at Gildenburgh and a great Rescue Diver course. The conditions at Stoney have been great, with loads of fish in the wrecks and still 14 degree water.
September Dive Weekends
We've had some great dives in September, in the Farne Islands, at Stoney, Gildenburgh and on Rescue Diver course. Busy month already!
Scapa Flow August 2022
The guys had a great time diving the wrecks of the German high seas fleet scuttled an 1919.
We are returning in June 2024 so let us know if you are interested.
Farne Islands July 2022

We had a fantastic Red Sea Liveaboard and saw everything we came to see including dolphins, hammerheads, manta rays and turtles, and also had beautiful conditions. Thank you to Redda and Mousa our brilliant guides and to the great crew of Hurricane. Well done to all our divers and thank you for making it such a great trip.

April 2022 Dive weekends
We've had a great start to the UK dive season with several new divers qualifying at Stoney Cove and a very successful Rescue Diver course.
Lanzarote, March 2022
The group had a great time in Lanzarote and saw some beautiful marine life including seahorse, nudibranchs, cuttlefish and rays, plus the underwater museum which looked fascinating. Congratulations to Carl Amos for completing his Tec45 course and Sam for qualifying as an Open Water Diver. Well done guys and thank you everyone for making it such a fun trip.

An early season trip to the Red Sea and it was great to be back! Thank you everyone for making it such a great trip and to the crew and guides of Hurricane for looking after everyone so well. Congratulations to Carl, Sarah and Ashley for completing their Tec 45 & Tec 50 courses.
Christmas Party 2021
Thank you to everyone who came to the 2021 Christmas Party. We had a brilliant night of drinking, eating and dancing with some great diver awards and raised just over £600 for the RNLI and Sea Shepherd. Thank you everyone for making it such a great night and your generosity for these great causes.

Red Sea Liveaboard, October 2021
Wow, we had a great week in the Red Sea, and it was so good to be back! The beautiful wrecks and reefs did not disappoint- conditions were perfect, the reefs were really healthy. Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a fantastic trip. Can’t wait for the next one now!

Wow, August marks 20 years since Chris and Polly established Christal Seas Scuba! We have had an amazing time and have been so lucky to introduce hundreds of people to the underwater world and have made fantastic friends along the way. Farne Islands, July 2021
We had an amazing time diving with the seals in the Farne Islands. We were lucky and had lots of seal interaction and got 6 really nice dives in over the long weekend.
Norfolk Coast Dives Summer 2021
We have got some great diving just off the north Norfolk coast which is suitable for all level of diver. The shore dives are usually a max of 7 metres deep so nice and shallow and so much life to see. Have a look at the Shore Dive details and let us know if you want to get involved

We've had some great dive weekends in June with lots of training and pleasure diving. The conditions have been good and the sun has been shining - perfect!
Brighton 5 & 6 June 2021
The guys had a great time diving the wrecks and Brighton Pier. Gorgeous weather and so nice to get away diving.
May 2021 dive weekends
We've been back up to Stoney Cove teaching Advanced Open Water and Wreck Speciality and also getting some Drysuit Speciality courses and more pleasure dives in at Gildenburgh. It's great being busy diving again. Let us know if you want to join us on any of our upcoming dive weekends.
April 2021 dive weekends
It was great to be out of lockdown and diving again! Several of us have been back in the pool refreshing key skills, checking our kit and then getting back into open water and loving it!
Night Dives
We had great fun at Gildenburgh doing night dives on Haloween. Lots of crayfish, sleeping fish and some brilliant Halloween costumes. The visibility was pretty good and it is fun so definitely recommended!
December dive weekends
We had some great end of year dive weekends at Gildenburgh in December with some great Open Water students and some quailfying dives for our Divemaster Trainees.
Rescue Diver course - November
Congratulations to Aidan, Gary, James, Phil & Paul who qualified as Rescue Divers in November. This is such a rewarding course and they all worked so hard. Well done guys!

Rescue Diver - 8 & 9 August 2020

Good to be back teaching at Stoney Cove today! 2 really nice groups and great to see the guys up here too. Visibility not very good on the ledge but what a difference as you get a bit deeper.. It clears below 10 metres and we had 5 metres viz on the road and 5 to 7 metres viz on the Stanegarth while doing some DM training later in the day. So much nicer than the visibility on the ledge and a fab first dive of the year on the Stanegarth!

Congratulations to Simon (Diggory), Simon (Dazley), Simon (Taylor) and Adam P-B for qualifying as Rescue Divers a couple of weeks ago. Another great course teaching really important rescue skills. Highly recommended for all divers. Well done guys, and many thanks to Paul and Ellia for running the course and working them all so hard!
We had a great trip to the Farne Islands last weekend. Restricted numbers on the boats and things operating a bit differently in this ongoing Covid 19 era but the diving was as great as always! Good to be out diving off the boats and seeing the beautiful underwater scenery and seals.

What a fun afternoon diving at Gildenburgh. Thank you to Sam, George, Nathan, Ashley and Neil for coming along for a couple of dives. We were pretty much the only divers there and the visibility was a half decent 3 to 4 metres so we had a really good explore and saw the plane, volvo truck , cockpit, pool table, a big pike, lots of perch, loads of crayfish and of course the double decker bus! Great to be diving again!

Had great fun diving at Horstead Mill yesterday with Ellia, Trudi and Lucy. So lovely to see the dive girls again and great to be underwater blowing bubbles. We got to all of 3.3 metres deep but saw lots of perch, crayfish and some eels. Plus a pair of glasses, a Corona bottle and lots of beer cans so we did a little underwater clean up too.

Thank you to the team at The Diver Training College in York for another brilliant day out trying the old fashioned brass helmet diving equipment followed by a dive to 50 metres in the recompression chamber. Such a great experience and so useful to learn more about decompression illness prevention and treatment.

Yarmouth SeaLife centre tour - Feb 2020
Thank you to the team at The Sea Life Centre in Yarmouth for a great tour around the aquarium and Q & A session with the dive team there. A really good day out and some beautiful creatures to see
Thank you to everyone who came to the dive club Christmas Party last night. 70 of us partied the night away and we had a brilliant night with lots of food, drink, dancing and some special awards, plus we raised an amazing £710 for the RNLI and Sea Shepherd - well done and thank you everyone.

Wow what an amazing trip in South Africa & Mozambique ..From Diving with sharks in Gansbaai & fur Seals & a kelp Forest in Simon’s Town , then saw the penguins, visited a botanical garden & stood on top of Table Mountain drinking gin in Cape Town, Dived with Bull sharks, Hammerheads, Oceanic Black tips, & more , dolphins turtles rays in Mozambique & rode those fun choppy 2- 4 meter waves, then to top it all we went back to South Africa to the most beautiful Rhino Ridge lodge In Hluhluwe & Umfolizi had a safari, with close encounters of Rhino, elephants & giraffes to name a few!!

The group had an interesting time in Bikini Atoll diving the incredible wrecks in the area. Medical circumstances altered the planned itinery but the guys got some good dives in on the Saratoga and also discovered some new dive sites around Kwajalein including an aeroplane grave yard full of planes and some great shipwrecks. We had another great weekend up at Stoney Cove in the sunshine. The visibility was pretty bad but we found our way round and saw loads of fish (and Nessie!). Congratulations to everyone who qualified in Open Water, Drysuit Speciality and Advanced Open Water - You all did really well! Many thanks to Mandy, Simon, Pete and Liv's Mum & Dad for doing surface cover all weekend - very much appreciated.

Wow, we had a lovely time in the Red Sea with perfect conditions - calm seas, warm water and great visibility to dive the fantastic wrecks and reefs of the Northern Red Sea. Many thanks to the guides and crew of Cyclone for looking after us so well and thank you to everyone who came for making it such a great trip. Congratulations to those who achieved milestones during the week including: Nigel for 450 dives, David (Trigger) for 150 dives, Rhonda, Jasmin, Carl & Sarah for 100 dives, Joe, Lauren, Rachel, Jason, James & Sam for 50 dives. Congratulations also to Sam for completing Wreck Speciality and to Jason, Kat, Rhonda, Jasmin & Sam for completing Deep Speciality and Sarah for doing many of her Rescue Diver skills. Well done everyone and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Rescue Diver - 11 & 12 May 2019
Congratulations to our new PADI RescueDIvers Jason, Kat, Sam and Lee. They were encouraged and challenged all weekend by the wonderful Instructor-Divemaster Team of Marcus, Trudi, Jim, Fern and Nick; all the candidates made huge progress over their time participating on the course through sheer hard work and determination. Wow, we had an amazing time in the Red Sea. We saw some amazing things including sharks, rays, beautiful corals and had a fantastic time snorkelling with dolphins. Also we had some great achievements during the week; Phil for doing 20 dives, Alex 25 dives, Jasmin 50 dives, Geoff 150 dives, Tim 1,00 dives and Conrad for doing his Boat Diver Speciality. Many thanks to everyone who came for making it such a great trip and to Mario from Scuba Travel for the amazing photos and to the guides and crew of Hurricane for looking after us so well.
