Childrens' Courses
We are proud to be a PADI Approved Youth Training Centre which means we have been recognised for the quality of our training, standards, policies and procedures. As a facility we can meet the specific needs of young people, schools and youth groups and we have run many junior courses over the last 20 years, from scuba parties and try dives to Junior Open Water courses. We also work closely with several local schools and love teaching younger divers and sharing our sport which has so much to offer both personally and educationally. Scuba diving is an amazing activity and a really memorable experience for children. A 2 hour PADI Bubblemaker session is a great way to introduce children aged 8 years upwards to scuba diving in a pool under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Instructor.

The PADI Seal Team is a pool based scuba course for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool while learning important key dive skills. The course involves 5 AquaMissions in the pool and an additional 10 Speciality Aquamissions for those who want to continue and learn more skills including underwater photography, wreck diving and even diving at night with torches and glowsticks.
They'll get to do some cool stuff in the pool, meet friends and share in the adventure of the underwater world.

The Open Water Diver course is open to anyone over the age of 10 years old and is the most popular and exciting Learn To Dive program in the world. It is your ticket to discover what the underwater world has to offer and qualifications are valid for life so even those learning early can continue diving all over the world for the rest of their life! A great course involving a mix of theory, pool sessions and 4 open water dives (that can be completed here n the UK or at any dive centre on holiday).

A scuba party is a great way to celebrate a birthday. We run the parties as a 2 hour session which includes a short briefing about scuba to explain the basics and answer any questions people have followed by introduction to the equipment and the dive in the pool. There is plenty of time for underwater games and fun and even a current / wave machine at the end which is always popular!
