What Will You Learn?

This course is designed as an introduction to underwater navigation. You'll cover planning and organising dives, taking into account navigational problems and hazards. You'll cover how to estimate distances underwater, how to use natural navigation techniques, how to use underwater patterns, and how to confidently use a compass underwater.

 

The course starts with simple exercises and finishes with you navigating a 5 point route around a dive site. 

 

Perfect practice and giving you the confidence to dive with your buddy without a dive guide.  

 

Course Pre-requisites

• As long as you are a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) you can begin this Speciality Diver course.

• You must be a minimum of 10 years old.
