PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Speciality
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.
What Will You Learn?
During this course, you'll cover:
Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox
Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations
Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what sort of air is in your tank and how to set your dive computer for nitrox.
As long as you are a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) you can begin this Speciality Diver course.
Minimum age is 15 years old.
Similar to many PADI courses, the PADI Enriched Air Diver course is a self-study course.
You'll receive quality training materials from PADI, specifically designed to teach you what you need to know.
Classroom sessions with a qualified PADI Instructor will ensure that you fully understand the information. There is also a short exam to verify your new knowledge.
