Detailed Itinery of the trip

 

This is a truly amazing personally tailor-made trip just for us taking in city tours of Cape Town, great white shark diving, beautiful diving in Mozambique and finishing with a stunning wildlife safari to finish the trip on a high.   See the Detailed trip itinery and read more below....

 

We fly into Cape Town for 3 nights at the beautiful La Splendida hotel which is located on a sunny promenade and very close to Cape Towns bustling waterfront area, beaches and bars.

While there we do the famous great white shark cage dive, followed by an afternoon city tour then start the second day with a cape fur seal and kelp dive followed by a Cape Peninsular tour.

Cape Town is a stunning city and a must do when visiting South Africa.   Breakfast is included at the hotel but we need to make our own arrangements for lunch and dinner, either at the hotel or at one of the many fantastic restaurants nearby.

We then fly to Durban and transfer by private coach to Ponta D'ouro in Mozambique (5 to 6 hour journey with stops along the way) where we stay Coco Rico resort for 5 nights.   This seaside town is located on some of Africas most beautiful coastline and hosts several beachfront restaurants and a range outdoor adventure activities.   While there we do 8 dives over 4 days to explore the beautiful reefs teeming with marine life.  Coco Rico is self catering accommodation but has a restaurant on site as well as many other options nearby.

We then travel back into South Africa for 3 nights at the stunning Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge where we have full board accommodation and 2 full days of game drives to see the amazing wildlife up close.  Rhino Ridge is located within the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve which was established to protect the previously endangered white rhino.  It has been a huge success and there are now over 1000 in the park.  All rooms are air conditioned and have a private deck giving expansive and uninterrupted views of the reserve. There is also a Spa on site which is also positioned to take advantage of the magnificent views of game grazing across the reserve – what a place to indulge after a day's safari.....

We then transfer back to Durban airport for the flight home.
