The Vessel...
The Nautilus Explorer is a stunning vessel. Designed with divers in mind, she sets the bar high. Everything on board is truly first class.  Accommodating 25 divers guests can relax in the spacious cabins or soak up some of the sun in the sun lounge. The wet bar located on the top deck is the perfect place to unwind after a day of superb diving.  The spacious en-suite cabins provide storage areas and in-cabin entertainment. For those seeking a little bit more luxury, there is a Premium suite and 3 Superior suites.

The Diving...

Socorro is famous for amazing interactions with the giant mantas, plus dolphins, humpback whales and 10 types of shark.  The manta behaviour here is unique in the world as the 12-to-16-foot giant mantas actively seek out intimate interactions with divers, from locking eyes in a first contact to gently swimming just overhead to be tickled by bubbles and hovering alongside divers as they swim along.

As well as the giant mantas our trip in March is timed to maximise the opportunities for diving with Humpback whales.  1200 humpback whales migrate down from Alaska at this time of year to mate and breed. You will see loads of whales on the surface and you will hear them singing when you are in the water. Most incredible of all is the opportunity to snorkel with the whales and sometimes even see them during a dive.

Please note that cooler waters and humpback whales go hand-in-hand and you can expect water temperatures of  approx 24 degrees so a long 5mm or 7mm wetsuit is a must.

The Area..

The Revillagigedo Archipelago consists of four specks of land belonging to Mexico: San Benedicto, Socorro, Roca Partida and Clarion. This Archipelago offers some of the most unique and stunning diving in Mexico. The archipelago possesses an absolutely unique ecosystem and is often nicknamed the "Mini-Galapagos" or the "Mexican Galapagos" as the landscapes are very similar. The Revillagigedo Archipelago also has a lot of endemic plants and animal species and the marine life sightings are very similar to the aquatic world of the Galapagos.
