Maldives Liveaboard

 

Best of the Maldives

12 to 19 September 2027

After the Liveaboard there is the option to add an a 2 or 3 night extension in a beautiful Maldives resort.

The Maldives is one of the most amazing places to dive and we have got a great itinery planned to spot Mantas, sharks and the other marine life that the Maldives is famous for.  

​

We are doing The Best of the Maldives itinery and will dive the best and most famous dive sites of the Maldives in a single week of sublime liveaboard diving across Male and Ari atolls. This is a dive holiday in the Maldives to remember that hits all the seasonal hot spots of North Male, South Male and Ari Atoll. Dive the many channels, drifts and pinnacles, encountering the manta, whalesharks and reef residents as you go.

Emperor Explorer is a beautiful new boat in the Emperor fleet and offers 3 to 4 dives per day.  The boat has 13 cabins over 3 decks for up to 26 divers. The saloon has a large dining area along with a spacious ‘living room’ style set up. There are 2 bars, 1 in the main saloon and 1 on the main deck. The separate dive dhoni is well equipped and large enough for everyone. The crew are amazing and the food is fabulous.

September can be rainy but it tends to be tropical and rain heavily for a little while then clear pretty quickly. Water temperatures can be anywhere between 27 - 30 degrees and air temperature is normally around 29 degrees.

Baggage Allowance

  • 23kg.  Extra luggage can be bought direct with the airline when tickets are issued (about 2 weeks before flight)

Transfer to Airport (UK)

Christal Seas Scuba may arrange a transfer from the dive centre to/from airport at an additional cost

 

Holiday Price

The boat is made up of the following cabins, with prices excluding flights:

​

5 lower deck twin cabins -   £2330 pp

2 lower deck double cabins  - £2195 pp

2 Main deck double cabins - £2590 pp

2 twin Upper deck cabins - £2485 pp

2 Upper deck double suites -  £2635 pp

Flights will be approx £900 return, and you can book your own or Scuba Travel can book for you.

 

The trip price includes boat,  transfers & 7 nights FB accommodation and tea, coffee and water and afternoon snacks plus a glass of wine with dinner and marine park fees.  6 days diving. Up to 4 dives a day (2 dives on last day).

Prices without flights available if you want to make your own travel arrangements.

Scuba Travel need a non refundable deposit of £600 to secure your space, a £500 instalment in Sept 2026 and the final balance is due 90 days before travel.

Recommended vaccinations: Hepatitus A, Typhoid, Tetanus and Polio.  Please contact your travel clinic to check your particular requirements
