Emergency First Response
Emergency First Response
This first aid course is a must for divers and non-divers alike. Accidents and illnesses can happen at home, at work or while out and about. This course prepares you to be able to provide help to those in need.
PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest-growing international CPR, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid training organisation.
The EFR course encompasses adult, child and infant CPR skills and provides AED and First Aid training.
What Will You Learn?
Emergency First Response consists of Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care.
Primary Care teaches you to react to life-threatening emergencies and includes a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure you have the confidence to provide care when emergency situations arise.
Secondary Care covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening such as shock management and bandaging. You'll look at secondary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice.

Knowledge Development
This classroom-based course takes place over one day.
