A spacious lounge and dining area is located on the main deck of the boat providing plenty of air-conditioned space to unwind and enjoy the on-board cuisine. An expansive dive deck leads perfectly to the dive platform, and also boasts a dedicated camera area for our photographer guests. Individual dive stations provide plenty of space and storage for your dive kit. This area also provides individual toilets, freshwater showers and rinse tanks for your equipment.

The Diving...

Located in the remote Republic of the Marshall Islands near Micronesia, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bikini Atoll is one of the most famous places in the world for wreck diving - a true diver’s bucket-list destination for any serious wreck diver. After WWII, the United States gathered a mock naval fleet in order to test the effects of different atomic bombs on warships. Between 1946 and 1958 the US tested 67 nuclear bombs, most notably during ''Operation Crossroads''.

Nowhere else can you dive such a fantastic collection of wrecks, including battleships, submarines, destroyers, and most notably the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga. Over 60 years later, the nuclear ghost fleet (as these wrecks are best known), rest in crystal blue waters that have since become home to an abundance of marine life with thriving reefs and corals. Only since 1996 has Bikini Atoll been open to diving, making this destination a one-of-a-kind combination of spectacular historic wrecks in a remote and otherwise untouched tropical paradise. All divers must hold a technical certification as most of the wrecks sit at 50m or deeper.

Read more about the diving and itinery on the BlueoTwo website

Please note:  All divers must hold a technical certification (Tec 50 minimum) as most of the wrecks sit at 50m or deeper, and have 100 logged dives.

Bikini Atoll is a an extremely remote location and you must ensure you have full diving insurance.

It is mandatory for guests to take an afternoon from diving mid-trip.  On this day an optional land tour on Bikini Island and beach BBQ is provided.

Please see the Master Liveaboards website for forms and releases.
