• 7 nights at the Alum Batu resort in Bali

 

Indonesia offers some amazing diving including beautiful reefs, wrecks and  critters. There are some fantastic land based trips we can add on too.

 

We are staying at the beautiful beach front Alum Batu resort which is located within lush tropical gardens in the north east of Bali, just north of Tulamben.  With just 12 bungalows and 3 villas this is a friendly intimate resort which prides itself on it's staff and customer service.   While there we can do 2 boat dives each morning and then house reef dives or spa treatments or a land tour in the afternoon.

 The Alam Batu house reef is a wonderful 800 metre long reef with soft corals, black corals, table corals and gorgonians up to 2 meters in diameter.  There are also many coral and muck dive sites in the vicinity of the hotel which offer unique diversity, plus the Liberty shipwreck. You reach all the dive sites in no more than 20 minutes on one of the fast boats.

We have booked 6 bungalows which are built in the typical Balinese style with thatched roofs, blending harmoniously into the landscape and surrounded by plants and trees - so plenty of privacy is ensured. A comfortable lounger tempts you to linger and enjoy resting on the terrace. If you prefer, you can also sleep outdoors (ask for a mosquito net). The bathroom is at the back of the bungalow; WC and washbasin are roofed and the shower is in the open.

We have booked the 'All in' package at Alum Batu which includes all diving (boat and house reef) and / or spa treatments / land tours.  Full board but alcohol and soft fizzy drinks are not included.
