WHIRLWIND

Designed by divers and expertly crewed, Whirlwind is another award winning vessel from Tornado Marine Fleet. She has been thoughtfully laid out to optimise space on board and her steel hull complements her speed and she's incredibly stable in the water.

Mistral has 4 twin cabins located on the upper deck and 8 twin cabins on the lower deck, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning.   There is a comfortable communal saloon and dining area,  sun deck and an outside bar and jacuzzi and spacious dive deck.  

We are doing a twist on the Get Wrecked itinery which includes the famous wrecks of the Thistlegorm, Kingston, Dunraven, and the numerous wrecks in the Abu Nuhas area (the Marcus, Giannas D and Chrisola K) but with the add bonus of travelling down to the Salem Express and adding in the iconic Shark Reef & Yolonda wreck.

The Northern Red Sea is teaming with the unique ecology that makes the region truly world class. The gentle sloping coral gardens play host to thousands of brightly coloured fish. 19th and 20th century wrecks have formed artificial reefs and Surgeon fish dart through port holes while glass fish swarm idly by. Macro life is abundant and cleaning stations pulse with the day’s traffic. Blue spotted sting rays, eagle rays and manta abound and the summer months see large pelagic sharks gather on the drop off. Hammerheads, Black Tips, leopard and even tiger sharks all visit the region.
