The Maldives is one of the most amazing places to dive and we are combining the best of both worlds with a week on  to explore some of the best sites followed by 2 or 3 nights in Sri Lanka to finish the trip on a high.

 

The itinerary will take you to a selection the best dives sites in the area to show you the best of the Maldives. The nutrient-rich waters in these areas make for spectacular sightings. Virgo sleeps only 18 divers over 32m, which has made her popular with those that prefer smaller groups on board. All diving is from the support dhoni. Cruise the heavenly atolls of Male and Ari without it costing the earth on a liveaboard dedicated to your diving satisfaction.

Virgo has a total of 9 cabins - there are 5 lower deck twin cabins, 2 main deck twin/double cabins and 2 sea view upper deck cabins. All have en suite bathrooms with shampoo and shower gel.
 On the main deck there is a large air conditioned saloon with welcoming sofas. Meals are served buffet style and seated at a large sociable table. The bar on board is fully licensed so you can enjoy your favourite tipple as the sun sinks over the horizon. The upper deck is a hub for most people in between dives, with loungers to relax on and enjoy the Maldives drifting by. Wifi access can be purchased on board and is limited by signal coverage in each area.

 

After a week of great diving we then spend 2 nights in Sri Lanka to visit the Pinnawela elephant orphanage, have a Jeep safari of Minneriya National Park,  visit Temple of the toot relic and have a city tour of Kandy, including a visit of local arts & craft places and local shopping.
