Chris Wake
Chris is Norfolk's only PADI Course Director - the highest individual PADI qualification you can reach. He has over 7,000 logged dives and has trained hundreds of divers over the last 10 years.
Chris started diving on holiday 13 years ago and realised this was his calling in life so stayed to qualify as a Divemaster. He returned to the UK and progressed through to Instructor level and set up Christal Seas Scuba in 1999. Since then he has continued training and teaching and is one of the most experienced divers in the area.
Chris is a Tec 50 Instructor Trainer, Trimix Instructor Trainer and RYA Commercial Day Skipper. He is also an EFR Instructor Trainer, Oxygen Instructor Trainer, HSE First Aid at Work Instructor Trainer, Nitrox Gas Blender, Advanced Nitrox Diver, Decompression Procedures Diver and holds 14 speciality Instructor ratings.
He is also a qualified Apeks, Buddy, Poseidon, Atomic and TUSA service technician and has his Powerboat licence.

Polly Wake
Polly is a PADI Instructor with over 1,000 logged dives and over 7 years teaching experience.
Polly started diving 13 years ago with Chris and has dived all over the world, working in and managing various dive centres before returning to the UK to run Christal Seas Scuba with Chris. Polly loves diving, anywhere, but particularly around the UK coastline and is always amazed by how much life there is to see out there.
Polly is an IDC Staff Instructor, EFR Instructor, Oxygen Provider, First Aid at Work Instructor, Nitrox Gas Blender, Advanced Nitrox Diver, Seasearch Observer and holds 10 speciality Instructor ratings.

Marcus Knight
Marcus is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor with several hundred logged dives who has taught over 100 students and discovered his true purpose in life!
His first dive was 10 years ago in Mediterranean and he’s never looked back! Having dived in the Med, Atlantic and Red Sea as well as spending time living and teaching abroad, he still loves diving back in the UK – diving with seals at the Farne Islands off the Northumberland coast being his favourite place to get wet. Having taught over 100 courses since qualifying as an Instructor he still gets a buzz from bringing new divers to the sport and helping people take those first fin kicks to qualification.
Marcus is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, EFR Instructor, Oxygen provider Instructor, holds 10 speciality Instructor ratings and has his Powerboat licence.

Wayne Bowditch
Wayne is a PADI Master Instructor who has done over 1,000 dives around the world and has been teaching for over 5 years.
Wayne is very experienced and loves teaching as well as diving around the UK and on holiday. His favourite dive sites include the wreck of the Thistlegorm in the Red Sea and the many wrecks around the UK coastline.
Wayne is an IDC Staff Instructor, EFR instructor, Oxygen provider and holds 12 speciality Instructor ratings. |

Richard Wood
Richard is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and has done hundreds of dives around the UK as well as on many trips to the Red Sea.
Richard is very friendly and loves introducing new people to diving.
Richard is an OWSI, EFR Instructor, Oxygen provider, often helps run the Seal Team courses for young divers and has his Powerboat licence. |

Stuart Ives
Stuart is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor who has done hundreds of dives around the UK and in the Red Sea.
Stuart has been diving for over 10 years and is very friendly, dependable and a great diver - what more could you ask for?!

David is an Open Water Scuba Instructor who has done hundreds of dives and loves diving on the wrecks around the UK coastline as well as on the many weekends to Stoney Cove and Gildenburgh.
David is an EFR instructor, Oxygen provider and is very interested in environmental education and spreading the word about how divers can protect the marine environment. |

Denise is an Open Water Scuba Instructor who loves diving off the Norfolk coast and around the UK.
Denise is a keen Seasearch Observer and is great at spotting a new creatures on the wrecks off Weybourne and Cley. |

Josh is a Divemaster Trainee who has been around diving since before he could pick up a tank. Luckily he's got good at that now and is always around and happy to help with everything from loading the van to introducing people to diving through the Discover Scuba Diving sessions. |

Jenny is a PADI Divemaster and has spent time living and working abroad before returning to the UK to continue her training with us.
Jenny is very helpful, loves diving and has her Powerboat licence. Jenny also helps out in the shop and is usually found cleaning the fish tank!

Kicker
Kicker is the dive dog and is usually found lying in the sunniest space in the shop. Kicker is very friendly, loves cuddles and jumping in lakes.
Kicker hasn't got any professional dive credentials yet although does sometimes help with surface cover. |
