Overview
Hurricane was voted 'Liveaboard of the Year' 3 times between 2004 - 2006.  At 36 metres she has bags of space and generally  provides a smooth stable ride due to her design.   She boasts an upstairs saloon complete with bar and an extensive sun deck complete with sun beds and jacuzzi.  All cabins are en suite with air con, and doubles and twins are available.

We are doing the famous Wrecks and Reefs itinery which includes the beautiful reefs in the Tiran and Ras Mohammed areas as well as the wrecks of the Thistlegorm, Kingston, Dunraven, Rosalie Moller and the numerous wrecks in the Abu Nuhas area (Giannas D, Chrisola K etc).

Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon in Tiran stand out for their lush coral gardens, sweeping drift dives and large gorgonian formations. We'll also dive Shark and Yolanda as well as some of the lesser dived sites in the area such as Small Crack and Bluff Point before moving onto the wrecks which make the Northern Red Sea a wreck diver’s delight. The almighty Thistlegorm is the setting for unforgettable diving, and we'll get to dive it by day and night. The Kingston, Dunraven, Abu Nuhas and Rosalie Moller only add to the excitement.

The Northern Red Sea is teaming with the unique ecology that makes the region truly world class. The gentle sloping coral gardens play host to thousands of brightly coloured fish. 19th and 20th century wrecks have formed artificial reefs and Surgeon fish dart through port holes while glass fish swarm idly by. Macro life is abundant and cleaning stations pulse with the day’s traffic. Blue spotted sting rays, eagle rays and manta abound and the summer months see large pelagic sharks gather on the drop off. Hammerheads, Black Tips, leopard and even tiger sharks all visit the region.

Wrecks and Reefs is the ideal itinerary whatever your experience level. A popular route for those new to the Red Sea, the varied depths across dive sites suit all abilities – from novice to tekkie. Visibility is crystal clear and the warm blue waters are perfect for long dives. Currents push nutrients rich water from north to south, giving you plenty of opportunity for exhilarating drift dives. Travel times between dive sites are short leaving more time for relaxing.
