This course teaches you the preparation and procedures involved in diving with enriched air (up to 40% oxygen). Enriched air contains less nitrogen and this allows you to stay in the water longer, get back in the water sooner and you may even feel less tired after a days diving! No wonder it's one of our most popular courses! |

During this course, you'll cover:
- Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox
- Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations
- Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what sort of air is in your tank and how to set your dive computer for nitrox.

| Requirements |
- You must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or have an equivalent qualifying certification)
- Minimum age is 15.

| Knowledge Development |
Similar to many PADI courses, the enriched air (Nitrox) specialty course is a self-study course. You'll receive quality training materials from PADI, specifically designed to teach you what you need to know. Classroom sessions with a qualified PADI Instructor will ensure that you fully understand the information. Knowledge Reviews and a short test at the end of your theory session will confirm your understanding of the material. |
