| Overview |
This course is an introduction to deep diving and develops the skills necessary to participate in deep diving activities, training you to 40 metres. |

| General Content |
During this course you will:
- Practice proper procedures and techniques of deep diving.
- Review risk factors associated with deep dives.
- practice safety stops and emergency decompression procedures.
- Understand special equipment considerations for deep diving.

| Requirements |
- You must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or have an equivalent qualifying certification).
- Minimum age is 15.
|

| Knowledge Development |
Similar to many PADI courses, the deep diver specialty course is a self-study course. You'll receive quality training materials from PADI, specifically designed to teach you what you need to know. Classroom sessions with a qualified PADI Instructor will ensure that you fully understand the information. Knowledge Reviews and a short test at the end of your theory session will confirm your understanding of the material. |
